		Murphy has the honour of being the first Maine Coon we have ever owned and was the reason we decided to start breeding. He also is the first Maine Coon in NZ to be awarded the title of Gold Double Grand Premier. There are now many Maine Coons in NZ with that title but its great to know that Murphy was the first. He was shown at cat shows for the first few years of his life but is now very much retired. Unfortuneatly he now has symptoms of hip dysplasia but at 10 yrs of age is still going strong. Hes makes a great "uncle" to all our kittens and loves teaching them "respect". Hes also great company for our stud cat Marcus.
